This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and conditions related to the shipping and delivery of products purchased from Chō ("we", "us", or "our"). By placing an order on our website www.choeffect.com, you agree to comply with the following shipping guidelines:
Order Processing Time:
- Orders are typically processed and shipped within one business day after payment verification unless otherwise specified.
- Please note that orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.
Shipping Methods:
- We offer a standard shipping option, delivery times depend on your location and the nature of the product.
- Shipping costs and delivery times vary based on your delivery address.
- You will be provided with estimated delivery times during the checkout process.
Shipping Destinations:
- We currently ship worldwide (except for Ukraine and Belorussia)
- For international orders, please be aware that customs clearance procedures may cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
Shipping Charges:
- Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight of your order, and destination address.
- Orders above 1,000 AED have free shipping included.
- Shipping charges will be displayed during the checkout process before you complete your order.
Customs Duties and Taxes:
- GCC orders have customs and duties pre-paid.
- For other countries, customs and import duties are applied by local customs. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an estimated amount for this. We kindly suggest that you contact your local customs offices before ordering to find out the exact cost that could potentially be incurred. Sadly any orders with customs duties on attached we cannot refund for.

We reserve the right to deduct any costs from your refund that we incur from parcels that are returned to us due to unpaid customs charges
Order Tracking:
- Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information.
- You can track the status of your shipment using the provided tracking number and the carrier's website.
Delivery Attempts:
- It is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive the package at the designated delivery address.
- If delivery attempts are unsuccessful, the carrier may leave a notification card with instructions for rescheduling delivery or picking up the package from a local facility.
Shipping Delays:
- While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery of your orders, shipping delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or carrier issues.
- We are not responsible for any delays caused by the carrier or customs clearance procedures.
Lost or Damaged Shipments:
- We are not liable for lost or stolen packages once they have been marked as delivered by the carrier.
- If your package arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photographic evidence of the damage, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Order Modifications:
- Once an order has been placed, we may not be able to modify shipping details or change the shipping method. Please review your shipping information carefully before completing your order.
