Traditional silk production implies the loss of thousands of silkworm lives. To put this into perspective, for every kg of silk made, approximately 6,600 silkworms are killed. It can be estimated that billions, if not trillions, of them are killed every year for this purpose.
Our natural bedding sets, each weighing approximately a total of 6 kilograms, embody a significant change in this narrative.
By choosing the path of ethical production, approximately 39,600 silkworms are saved in the production of each set, letting them complete their natural journey to becoming beautiful butterflies.
